Hastings Honde, BSc, MPH is a Research Manager at Invest in Knowledge Initiative (IKI). He has more than 16 years of research experience and has designed and implemented qualitative and quantitative research studies funded by both national and international organizations. Hastings has held management and supervisory roles for studies funded by the National Institutes of Health, the International Labour Organization, the World Bank, DIME, Innovations for Poverty Action, the Rockwool Foundation, USAID, and several reputable universities. In addition to managing research studies in Malawi, Hastings has also overseen projects internationally in Mozambique and South Africa.

Hastings has served as a research manager on various projects, some of which have involved large teams of up to 150 members. His main responsibilities included recruiting and training enumerators for both qualitative and quantitative components of the studies, in collaboration with project leadership. He has been actively engaged in the field during data collection and has been part of the data quality monitoring team. Additional responsibilities have included tracking project progress, challenges encountered, and communicating with the evaluation teams to address any issues that arose, as well as coordinating the entire data collection exercise. Hastings is proficient in using SurveyCTO, STATA, and Tangerine for data collection and analysis. He consistently prioritizes quality and is committed to delivering high-quality results.
